Dr. Karanth receives Faculty Seed Grant

Dr. Divakar Karanth is the Program Director of Graduate Orthodontics and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. He is a certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Karanth completed his MS and Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Kentucky. He is a member of the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Karanth is the current President of the Society of Educators, the American Association of Orthodontists. His research interests are bone regeneration, the biology of tooth movement, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in orthodontics. Dr. Karanth has published numerous orthodontic articles and serves as a reviewer for various journals. Dr. Karanth is involved in teaching orthodontic residents, pediatric dentistry residents, and Predoc students. He also runs a very successful orthodontic practice at UF Faculty Clinic.
